Tech Tuesday

 

Come learn about technology tools that can help you to transform learning in your class.  We will meet in the Media Center (unless otherwise noted).  Sessions will last approximately 1 hour at 9:00 a.m., 11:15 a.m., 1:00 p.m., and 2:30 p.m.  Pick the time that works best for you.  No need to sign up, just drop in.

Nearpod - September 15th

Come learn about how Nearpod can help you create interactive lessons to engage students and collect quick formative data to inform instruction.  Get a preview of the Common Sense Media Digital Citizenship lessons on Nearpod.

Office 365 Basics - September 22nd

Come learn about the features of Office 365.  Get your OneDrive all set up for access to all your documents anytime, from anywhere!

Edgenuity offers online content to with flexible pacing.  This is a great tool to help you personalize learning for students.

Safari Montage - October 6th

Safari Montage is a terrific tool for creating custom playlists for the classroom.  Share what you create with your students for flipped lessons, or online content for personalized learning and more!

Go Animate - October 13th

Create animated presentations for content delivery, or have your students create their own to show you what they know.

Collaboration with Office 365 - October 27th

Learn more about the powerful collaboration tools available in Office 365.  Change how you and your students work together forever!

OneNote - November 3rd

One Note is a one stop shop for all your organization needs.  Share notebooks with others for collaboration, upload documents and links.  A great option for going paperless.  Anything that you would put in a 3-ring binder can be put in OneNote, plus more.  The options are limitless.
